Today was our first day of the winter season. Thachcat, Leo Paquette, and your host, B dot, took to the mean slopes of Breckenridge for an epic 2 runs. The snow was mildly soft and the lines were hella long, it was more or less perfect. We immediately met up with fellow WOLFPACK member, Chris Hagerty, to brighten our horizons. Hagerty decided to ride faster than flipper and get his first warning of the year. His roommate, Banks Gilberti, also got a warning for riding switch. He was clearly OOC, “out of control”. We then went to the terrain park to hits some jumps, but gapers slowed me down from throwing my first double of the year. Tom Wallisch and Nick Martini were all smiles as we crossed paths by the jumps. Run two was another goody. Hagerty’s ankle started to ache so we went straight to the bottom. The day ended right in time for Empire Burger. We consumed thoroughly cheesed nachos and cheeseburgers. Then we got to experience the bachelor pad de Hagerty y Gilberti. Banks kept us entertained with knock-knock jokes and Skate on Xbox 360. Soon it was time to part ways and head back to Boulder. Thank God for low profile tires, because we were just laughing sideways on I-70. It wouldn’t be a good drive without whiteout conditions and completely stopped traffic. We are still hanging out on the highway enjoying the stillness of the drive. If anyone is bored feel free to give us a call.
Love, B dot
